Coloring mandalas is a relaxing and fun activity for all ages.
Twenty different hand-drawn mandalas have been printed single-sided on cardstock, ready for colored pencils or markers without worry of bleed-through. These hand-drawn designs have subtle irregularities because the images haven't just been cut and pasted on a computer. This gives a more organic, friendly feel to the designs. Designs are a mix of 4, 5, and 6-sided symmetry and contain a nice mid-range of complexity - ample room for shading without absurdly tiny areas.
Pages are 8 1/2 by 11", with the mandalas fitting in the lower 8 1/2" square. Wire binding on the top edge allows the book to be folded back to any page, perfect for either left or right-handed artists. Each page includes an area that can be used to practice or test color combinations, then can be cut out to use as a bookmark.
